Sullivan Endorsed by Public Safety Organizations

Covington- August 21, 2008 — State Representative Pat Sullivan earned the endorsement this week of the Council of Metropolitan Police and Sheriffs. He was endorsed earlier by the Washington State Council of Police and Sheriffs and the Washington State Patrol Troopers Association.
“I’ve worked hard to crack down on the manufacturing and distribution of meth, get tough on violent offenders, and improving safety in our schools and neighborhoods,” said Sullivan. “Public Safety is a top priority for me and to be recognized for my efforts by law enforcement organizations is truly satisfying.”
Sullivan’s re-election effort has also received the endorsement from a wide-range of other groups and individuals including the Washington State Nurses Association, the Washington Realtor’s Association, the Children’s Campaign Fund, the Affordable Housing Council, the State Labor Council, Washington Conservation Voters, and a number of other groups and individuals. “I have worked hard during my two terms in the state House of Representatives,” Sullivan stated. “I’m proud to have received the endorsement of such a diverse array of individuals and organizations. It reflects my desire to represent all the people in the 47th District, not just a few.”
