Pat Sullivan Supports Government Accountability

Covington, Washington – Pat Sullivan successfully passed House Bill 1970, which will increase accountability and efficiency at state agencies.

“I’m always working for more efficient use of state tax dollars,” said Pat Sullivan. “Built-in accountability measures are the best way we to save money and improve government performance.”

The bill requires all state agencies to develop and implement a quality management, accountability, and performance system.

Washington State Auditor Brian Sonntag, who supports Pat Sullivan's reelection campaign, commented, “Pat shares my belief that state tax dollars ought to be spent as efficiently as possible, and that state taxpayers ought to know how they are spent.”
